Fall Prevention at Home

Thank you for the wonderful care of our father while he was in your facility. The staff were always warm & friendly, and we really appreciate all their hard work. Mitch in Therapy did a great job! Dad started walking again with his walker. Forever grateful.

I did not know much about the care when I first got here, but I’m doing great! The best account I can think of is Suzanne in therapy; she helped me so much just by being concerned about my eating. She was able to get me to the doctor to do a swallow test which upgraded my food from puree to solid. This started my road to success. The care I received is the best ever. I am only here now because of my care at Springgate. I love it here. I am currently in therapy and I know one day I am going to walk again. The care is amazing; I went from being in a coma to having my own right mind. I know what is going on. I know if someone is treating me good or bad. Everyone treats me well. I am so thankful to everyone for taking such good care of me.

The reason I chose this center is that my family said it was a great place. All of the staff members back here are good to me. I enjoy my time here; I like coming to bible study, bingo, and karaoke.

I was admitted to the facility on 10/3/2013. At the time I was admitted I was very large and in a lot of pain. The respiratory unit gave me excellent care. They got me talking when I thought I would never talk again. The second time I was picked up by therapy. I was totally helpless. There was one therapist Sharon who was very patient and kind to me. She understood I was in pain and therefore took baby steps with me. Because of her I was able to get the courage to keep going. Now I am able to move around by myself. The wound care nurse took good care of my tract wound. It healed wonderfully. I had some of the best CNA’s taking care of me. The activity department always had something going on. I love Gene, she kept things fun. When I was considered non-compliant there were so many people who kept taking good care of me. I felt loved and cared for here. The kitchen food is so good since Darrell is here. He comes to each table talking to us about the food. He brings special food to us in our rooms if we do not get up. Over all I am very pleased.

These people here are great and you can tell that they really care about their patients. They're so lively and energetic, with great spirits. The staff take excellent care of my mom, who's there now.

I loved being social with everyone.
